i was surprised and pleased to see this memo in my work email last Monday:
This is so cool:
| As part of our effort to provide our tenants with an improved bicycle storage area, we are expanding and upgrading the building’s existing bike rack facilities located in the garage. The new racks will be installed this Monday, April 23, and will be located in the same area at the bottom of the ramp on the A level of the garage. While this work is done, the existing bike racks will be nearby for use. |
Wow! Our parking garage is voluntarily upgrading its bike parking. I wrote to the manager to thank the management company and got a this message back:
“Well thank you very much Nancy. It’s always nice to receive messages such as this. And I’m glad to hear you are able to utilize the facilities. We are hoping they make things a bit easier for everyone.”
Makes sense , I think, to comment on it when something is done right.
