Giro LX Gloves

Last summer before our trip around the Eastern Shore, I purchased a pair of Giro LX Gloves from Competitive Cyclist. These were not cheap gloves (>$50) at the time. And some of the reviews were quite good.

The good: I found the gloves to be great looking, very comfortable and they absorb road shock very well. The purchasing process with Competitive Cyclist was excellent. I would highly recommend the online store.

The bad: But — and this is a huge but — their longevity (less than 500 miles total) sucks. The stitching tore out on the right glove in the thumb/palm connection before September rolled around and I did not even wear them much. WTF, I have had reasonably comfortable gloves for years without any problems other than they got disgusting after awhile… I would never recommend these gloves to anyone.
